Offspinner Karishma Ramharack comes back into the squad after lacking the ODIs on account of injury.Djenaba Joseph and Trishan Holder, who are a part of the West Indies Under-19 squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in South Africa in January, have been called up as replacements for Selman and Nation. Holder and Joseph are currently in Antigua for a high-performance camp.

“The upcoming T20 series is vitally important as the team continues its preparations for the [senior women’s] World Cup in February 2023,” lead selector Ann Browne-John said. “With one of the vital senior players lacking out through injury, it is a perfect possibility for the other players to begin cementing a place in the World Cup team.

“Based on injuries in the ODI series, Chedean Nation and Shakera Selman have been ruled out presently. Two members of the Under-19 World Cup squad, Djenaba Joseph and Trishan Holder, who have been making great progress, have been named to the squad and we consider that they are going to fit in mannered and absorb the experience. Karishma Ramharack returns to the team after lacking the ODI series because of injury, and Shamilia Connell who used to be on the injured list for the ODIs may be expected to be able to be thought to be for selection later in the series.”
