Alex Morgan announces birth of her daughter in social media post

U.S. Women’s National Team star and Orlando Pride forward Alex Morgan gave birth to her baby daughter on Thursday. The child’s name used to be revealed to be Charlie Elena Carrasco on Twitter.

Morgan and her husband, former L.A. Galaxy forward Servando Carrasco, announced they were expecting back in October, just three months after the US won the Women’s World Cup in France.

Morgan used to be gung ho approximately her training schedule post-pregnancy, saying in November that she wanted to take part in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo after giving birth to her child. Now, she doesn’t necessarily have to hurry back to the pitch because of the coronavirus pandemic delaying the games to 2021.

Of class lesson, it certainly gave the look of she didn’t precisely wish to do too much to receive back into perfect playing shape even while she used to be pregnant. In February, she posted a video on social media of herself showing off her footwork, touches and, of class lesson, her scoring talents all while donning the baby bump. She posted another video of her athleticism right through pregnancy in April, where she recorded a workout of squats, lunges, pushups and more.
